IMPORTANT REMINDERS

CHAMPIONSHIP MEETS: Lead coaches are working on finalizing all end of season meet entries. If you have any questions, please reach out to your swimmer’s lead coach sooner than later.

TREE REMOVAL: There are several trees being removed on the perimeter of the BWAC parking lot. Please do not park near a tree marked with an “X”.

END OF SEASON TEAM SHIRTS: Our Championship T-Shirts are here and ready to be picked up! A reminder that ALL swimmers, even if they are not attending a championship meet, are required to get a t-shirt. All accounts will be charged $16.50 on July 1st. The coaching staff will be available throughout the week to help you pick up your shirt. We will have a few parent volunteers helping at various times as well. There are NO EXCHANGES. All shirts have been ordered according to the size listed on your Team Unify account.

US PARALYMPIC SWIMMING TRAILS: We understand that there were many Riptide swimmers who volunteered their time over the past few days at the Paralympic Swimming Trials at the University of Minnesota. Please let coach Amy know if you were a volunteer and send pictures as well. We want to recognize your efforts!!!

SIGN A VIRTUAL CARD FOR REGAN SMITH: Minnesota Swim and Vibe has put together a giant virtual good luck card for Regan Smith for her Olympic competition.  It would be awesome if we could get our Riptide swimmers and parents to "sign it".  It takes 30 seconds and one can type something as simple as "Good Luck" and one's name.

KARE11 OLYMPIC BROADCAST: KARE11 who is helping the City of Lakeville sponsor an event to celebrate Regan Smith on the morning of July 29.  At 4AM she will take part in the first heats of the 100m back and KARE will start broadcasting in Lakeville at 5AM. If you are interested in helping to coordinate a group of our swimmers to be at this event, please contact coach Amy.

LAST DAY OF PRACTICE: The last day of practice for swimmers not going on to compete at any of our championship meets is July 11th.
